My educational background provides a solid foundation for my work in real estate

I have a J.D. from the University of Oregon and a Master in Law Librarianship from the University of Washington. I earned my real estate managing broker’s license (then called simply a broker’s license) in 2001. To become a managing broker in Washington, a real estate broker (formerly called an agent) must have 3 years of full-time broker experience, take additional coursework and pass the state managing broker’s exam.

Many brokers no longer provide these types of referrals. I still believe in providing my clients helpful referrals. If you’ve never owned a home, trying to find honest contractors at a fair price can be daunting. I think this is an important part of my job, even after you have moved into your new home.

Homebuyer Seminars

I am certified by the Washington State Housing Finance Commission (WSHFC) to teach homebuyer seminars required by WSHFC for eligibility in certain down payment assistance programs and for the federal mortgage condominium tax credit. I am happy to sit down with you and go through the basics of the homebuying process.
